How to make an audiobook for free
Open your book as an EPUB, PDF, DOCX, TXT or MD file. Check the text preview, pick a chapter to start from, choose one of the two free natural voices, and press Convert book. The chapters are made in order, and each one can be downloaded as an MP3 as soon as it is finished. Free makes up to three hours of audio, once per account, with no card.
Make an audiobook with chapters
Chapters come from the file itself: the table of contents of an EPUB, the bookmarks of a PDF, Heading 1 and Heading 2 in Word, # and ## in Markdown, and lines such as "Chapter 1" in a TXT file. Each chapter starts with its title, read once.
An audiobook file for your app (Pro)
Pro makes one M4B audiobook: one file with a chapter mark at the start of each chapter, the title, the author and a cover. Before you make it, you can change the title and the author and choose your own cover image. It opens in Apple Books on a Mac with its chapters. You can also download all finished chapters as MP3 files in one ZIP.
